Today, United Chinese Association of Brooklyn took part in our first-ever Day of Action with @fdnyfoundation and @nycemergencymanagement! 🚒

Together with our partners at @homecrestcommunityservices, our team spent the day with our community members, walking through five basic fire safety tips that can make all the difference when every second counts. We also brought fire safety flyers to three community centers so even more families can take these lessons home.

Being prepared starts before an emergency ever happens, and we’re grateful to FDNY and NYCEM for the support that made today possible. Thank you to everyone who stopped by, asked questions, and will share what they learned with their loved ones.

This is only the beginning. We look forward to keeping this work going and helping our neighbors stay safe and prepared. ❤️
